This was my first year to volunteer at our booth at Thunder in the Valley, the motorcycle rally held last weekend in Johnstown. I wasn't sure what to expect. I think many people have this stereotypical idea of motorcycle riders. I was expecting some intimidating and rough bikers. In reality, I was struck by what a friendly group of people I met. By and large, the bikers who attended Thunder in the Valley are a fun-loving, family-oriented and down-to-earth bunch.
Two questions I got over and over at the event were: Do you really see Edgar in the office? And what is he like? The answer to the first question is "YES!" Edgar leads the law firm and is totally involved in running ESA.
What's Edgar like? I have worked here for almost 20 years so obviously I am a big fan of Edgar's. If I had to describe him in just a few words, what comes to mind first is that he's a genuinely nice man, and very generous.

Motorcycle enthusiasts and their families will be in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, starting today June 21 through Sunday, June 24. This is our law firm's third year as a sponsor for the Thunder in the Valley motorcycle rally, so if you're planning to attend, please stop by our booth in Central Park.

You'll find our TV ads, including new commercials and the old classics. Others are longer videos created especially for our new website. Now it's as easy as clicking the "play" button to get legal help fast. Let me know what you think of our new site. You can also rate the videos, and be on our informal advisory panel to let us know which ads and videos you like or don't like.
Here's some insider information... By the end of the summer, we plan to launch a special feature on EdgarSnyder.tv that will let you create and upload your very own Edgar Snyder commercials. It's your chance to get creative and send in your ideas, whether serious or humorous (just keep it rated "G", please!). I'll keep you posted.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a trip to "Happy Valley" to watch my daughter graduate from Penn State. To my wonderful daughter -- I'm proud of you. And to all graduating high school and college seniors -- congratulations!
You'll be getting lots of advice from family and friends. Here's a little piece of advice I'd like to share with you after having watched too many young people get hurt. You have a bright future ahead, so celebrate responsibly. This is the time of year when lots of students attend proms and graduations. Celebrate, have fun, but please don't drink and drive.

Today I'm sharing some good news, hot off the press -- all of my partners were voted 2007 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. That means our peers in the legal community voted our entire team of partners in the top 5% of attorneys in the state. I'm proud of my partners, and personally, I'm honored to be named a Super Lawyer for the fourth year in a row. It means a lot that our colleagues think so highly of us.
